Profit after tax for the first quarter ending May 31, 2016 was $71 million, climbing by 81 per cent or $32 million year over year.
Revenue grew nine per cent or $26 million to $315 million for the quarter.
Chairman Carol Webster-Clarke and CEO Christopher Clarke said that growth was due to continued expansion of market in wholesale retail and convenience store segments.

The company, the directors said, is continuing to position itself to become the number one ice-cream company, “by positively influencing existing and new clients” with quality products.
Competing with companies like Crazy Jim, the ice-cream maker currently has approximately 20 flavours.
The Clarkes are the founder of Scoops Unlimited, the maker of Devon House ice cream.
Chairman Carol Clarke-Webster, writing in the company’s annual report, said that production facilities under construction will boost capacity by 50 per cent, during the new financial year.
